~CORE BELIEFS ~
As Artists/Musicians, the life and teaching of Jesus Christ form our essential "core" response
to Him, expressed in songs of both Story and Worship.
GOD...There is one, true, eternally existent God, revealed as being Triune in nature. Creator
of the universe as well as all of life.
JESUS CHRIST...The promised "Emmanuel" (God with us) to come. (See Isaiah 7:14,
8: 8, 10 and Matthew 1:23) Both fully God and man, sent to reconcile man back to God
by His atoning sacrifice on the Cross.
THE HOLY SPIRIT...The given "another" helper, (Allos; of the same kind, John 14:16) the
one who abides with us FOREVER. This indwelling Holy Spirit, (1 Corinthians 6: 19) sent to
convict the world of sin, of righteousness, and of judgement. Guiding us into all truth.
Glorifying all of what Christ had come to reveal, teaching and declaring those truths to us.
SALVATION...(Regeneration, Renewal, and Justification) made possible by Christ's blood,
shed upon the cross...granted to all who believe and call on His name. Acts 4:12, "Nor is there
salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which
we must be saved".
ETERNAL LIFE...Granted through belief, to all who profess Him as both Savior and
Lord. The "whoever believes" to the promise of "Everlasting life"....(John 3:16) And as in
John 17:3; " And this is eternal life , that they may "KNOW" YOU, the only true God, and the
ONE YOU have sent-JESUS CHRIST." What is stressed here is not just a mental assent of
facts, or casual familiarity. It implies an awareness of, having knowledge of, or to be sure of.
Even possibly expressing a degree of intimacy. The same word "know" (Strong's- 1097) is
used in Matthew 1:25, where it says..." Joseph.....did not "know" her until she had brought forth
her firstborn son"...it is a daily walk, a closeness, a continual reliance upon, and
a relationship with the Father and Jesus that ensure our eternal life.....
